EP 3: A Girl & Being a Christian Today

Hi welcome to the A Girl and the Word podcast! 

I am the host of this podcast, Kalee. Lover of all things coffee, houseplants, and Jesus.  

In today's episode, I will be talking about what it's like to be a Christian in today's world, to talk about being a Christian in today’s world. Better yet, what Christians are supposed to be like according to the Word of God. 

I hope that whether or not you are a Christian, you get something out of this episode. I pray that you begin to see what it truly means to be a disciple of Christ, and the life that he’s called all of us to live. 

I also want to preface that I am no theologian or pastor. I am merely a disciple of Christ, who follows His Word, and tries to live my life according to His will for it. Through reading the Bible, these are just but a few of the things I've learned about being a disciple of Christ, or a Christian.

This is very counter-culture. The concepts around identity, self-love, etc. are discussed but from a Biblical perspective.

If you're down for some uncomfortable, real, bold conversations - this is the episode for you. I pray that God speaks to you through it. I pray that you maybe learn something new or feel a new sense of passion for following Christ.
